DeMarini F2 Baseball Bat
The DeMarini f2 baseball bat was released in 2002, which was a bat for youths that was extremely popular at the
time. The model is no longer made because the company found other ways to improve upon the F2, but it had the
double wall aluminum bat that was the one to have during the 2005 Little League World Series.
Everyone that had one loved it and those that did not were envious.
Features of the F2
The DeMarini f2 baseball bat offered the best technology at the time, which made
the swing more powerful by offering the right balance and control. It offered a Flex-Tune composite
handle for greater comfort and control. Moreover, it had the DX-1 alloy, which made it more powerful
than any other bat at the time. It also had a 2.25 inch barrel, which offered a smooth balance and increased
the batting average of those that used the bat.
It offered the first of DeMarini's bats that had the Half & Half design, which was a combination of the
composite handle along with the aluminum barrel. It was something that the founder of the company had envisioned in
production before his untimely death in 2001. The Half & Half bats are still in production today and even those
that are not are indestructible for the most part.
What's more, is the DeMarini f2 baseball bat flexed upon impact, which was something that had not been seen
before with any bat. This was one of the reasons that everyone had to have one when they first hit the market. Of
course, the flex technology is now used in most, if not all of the DeMarini bats because it offers an energy behind
it when the ball comes into contact with it like nothing that has ever been experienced.
The DeMarini Difference
One of the many advantages that DeMarini has over other bats is innovation and drive. It seems the company, by
its own admission is never satisfied with any bat they create as they continue to find better technologies to
continue to improve your game. It is a company that has never been stagnate since its early days when the founder,
Ray DeMarini was simply not satisfied with the norm, he needed to go above and beyond and do things in the batting
industry that had never been done. Even after his death, that same spirit still resonates throughout the company
today.
The DeMarini f2 baseball bat was truly one of a kind and many little league players, both professional and those
that just played for fun enjoyed the F2. Many that still have their original bats still make good use of them
because like all DeMarini bats, they are made to last a lifetime.
